Foster Care Program

HCAS turns no animal in need away. This results in an overabundance of cats, kittens, dogs and puppies, especially in the warmer months. Thousands of homeless animals enter our shelter each year. Many are not quite ready for adoption and require the love and care of a foster family to prepare them for their forever home. Please join the unique and dedicated group of HCASF foster volunteers! You will experience the joys of being a pet “parent” without the lifetime of responsibility.

All potential foster parents must fill out a foster application.
